So this it. The day i'm enlisting into national service has finally come. Tomorrow starts a new journey, a new beginning, a new life to me. I wonder what awaits me on the other side in this coming 2 years but whatever it is, i really hope it's going to be a really interesting ride for me. People say ns waste 2 years of your life, or ns is burden which takes away the greatness of your civilian life. I can choose to think that way too (since it is true in some ways), but if i'm going to be having that kind of mindset for the next 2 years, i might as well quit the ride now. To me, ns comes once in a lifetime. So might as well you enjoy the ride while you can. There's no point dwelling and dreading about the whole fact that you have to serve ns because it would only make you feel down. I can't deny that i'll be needing the support from my family and friends though, because they have been the reason to where am i right now. But till then, i'll be taking things on my own from here.
So this is it. Till then, a new life.
